Carbon & Caffeine Coffee Bags
Problem
Create packaging series for a locally-owned coffee shop based in Brooklyn, New York with an industrial chic vibe. These coffee bags should feel unique, but cohesive across the set.
Solution
Leaning into NYC’s absurd nature, I took some of the most prolific NYC critters and modified them with technological advancements. I captured the city’s aesthetic by combining monuments from the city, grunge texture, and paint splatter, juxtaposed with clean typography. I had to create a die-line for a physical prototype, which I printed, crafted, and splattered paint on.
Physical Prototype
The coffee bags had to be physically assembled for final turn-in. This involved sourcing and following a dieline and printing. For the prototype, I splattered paint on the bags to add texture.
